Purpose

By investing in MBA programs and executive certifications from leading universities, we aim to:

- Harness new and emerging technologies to drive innovation and bring transformative ideas to Nexthink.
Nexthinker Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for reimbursement under this policy, employees must meet the following:
- Employment Status: Must be a full-time employee with at least two years of continuous service at Nexthink and maintain full-time employment status throughout the program.
- Strong Performance: Must demonstrate consistently strong performance.
- Relevance: The program or certification must be related to the employee's current role or a future role within Nexthink, as discussed with your manager and leadership team. The program should contribute to the employee’s professional development and align with the company’s objectives.
Eligible Programs
Reimbursement applies to MBA programs and executive certifications meeting the following criteria:
- MBA Degree Criteria: MBA programs must be accredited by recognized accreditation bodies (e.g., AACSB, AMBA, EQUIS) or equivalent national agencies.
- Executive Programs Criteria: Executive programs and certifications, including mini-MBA programs, must be offered by globally recognized universities or institutions with a strong reputation in the relevant field. These programs should uphold high academic and professional standards, comparable to those outlined for MBA programs as above. Programs and certifications outside these criteria, such as specialized or emerging programs, may still be eligible upon review and approval by the People & Talent (P&T) team, which will evaluate the program’s credibility and alignment with Nexthink’s strategic goals.
- Focus Areas: Programs should focus on building business acumen and expertise in areas such as leadership, strategy, cross-functional operations, and/or innovation. They may also include topics related to emerging technologies, such as machine learning, artificial intelligence, or digital transformation, or other disciplines that provide exposure to diverse business strategies and operational elements critical for the success of Nexthink.
- Delivery Format: Both in-person and online/hybrid programs are eligible, provided they meet accreditation and reputation standards. Employees must balance coursework with job responsibilities to avoid any impact on performance. Employees are expected to maintain full-time employment with the company while pursuing their MBA, regardless of the program format.
Reimbursement Details
- Tuition Coverage: Nexthink will reimburse up to 100% of tuition fees for eligible programs, with an annual cap of $10,000 USD and a lifetime cap of $30,000 USD per employee.
- Expenses Covered: Reimbursement applies to tuition/certification fees only; other expenses such as books, travel, or materials are not covered.
- Payment Schedule: Reimbursement is processed after successful completion of each course or certification module. Employee must achieve a grade of “B” or higher (or equivalent passing marks).
- Taxing: Nexthink doesn't provide any guidance on the tax implications of tuition reimbursement. Please consult with a tax professional for specific advice. You agree to be responsible for any taxes, interest, penalties, or fees related to the reimbursement on behalf of yourself or Nexthink.
- Repayment Requirement: Employees who receive tuition reimbursement agree to repay the reimbursement on a pro-rated basis if they voluntarily resign from Nexthink within two years following the completion of their MBA program or the last class taken, whichever occurs later. This repayment obligation applies regardless of whether the program is completed and will be conducted in accordance with country-specific regulations. Where Nexthink terminates the employment relationship, Nexthink may require repayment on different terms and conditions from those articulated in this policy.
Application Process
- Initial Submission: Employees interested in tuition reimbursement must submit a Tuition Reimbursement Form(link here) with details about their MBA program, its relevance to their career at Nexthink, and estimated costs. Reimbursement is not guaranteed until the application is reviewed and approved.
- Review and Approval: The submitted form will be reviewed by the People & Talent (P&T) team and approved by the employee's management chain, including C-Level approval, to ensure alignment, support, and buy-in. Approval is contingent upon budget availability and the strategic value of the degree to Nexthink.
- Employee Agreement: Once approved, the P&T team will provide the employee with an agreement to sign. This agreement outlines the terms of the tuition reimbursement, including repayment obligations.

Expense Submission: After completing each course, employees must submit the following via PeopleOps ticket.
- Proof of tuition or program payment
- Official grade report or transcript
- Reimbursement Once submitted, we will process the reimbursement, which will be issued via payroll. Reimbursements are subject to applicable tax withholdings in accordance with country-specific tax regulations. Employees are responsible for any tax implications related to tuition reimbursement as required by local laws.
Exceptions
Any exceptions to this policy require approval from the Chief People Officer and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Policy Review
This policy is reviewed annually by the Chief People Officer to ensure alignment with company objectives and financial priorities.
